Community service has been carried out in Pasuruan, Eastern Java. A hydroponics farming system, run by a group of farmers Kecamatan Gempol, consumes electric energy provided 900 Wp solar power system. The plant is equipped with two batteries, 12 V 100 Ah, Depth Discharge (DoD) 80% each, which enables the system to store 1920 Wh as reserve. According farmer’s report, one essential components was damaged twice due lightning strikes at an adjacent time.
